The role of engineers has changed dramatically in the 21st century: digital skills now play a crucial role and students should expect to be continuously learning throughout their careers. This has shaped education at universities such as TU Eindhoven, for whom we proofread and translate a large number of materials from both Dutch to English and English to Dutch (Systems engineering meets digital engineering | High Tech Systems Center). In the application domain, we've also been keeping up with the latest trends in engineering, from early-stage assessment of large automotive or aerospace systems (PANORAMA: Boosting Design Efficiency for Heteregeneous³ Systems | ITEA) to data integration for smart city concepts (PS-CRIMSON: Public Safety and Crisis Management Service Orchestration | ITEA).
